Invoice and payments

TL;DR: We’ve removed all transaction fees on the client side. Invoices have been enhanced with a due date and a note block for special instructions, such as INTERAC instructions. Last but not least, you can now record partial or total payments and link them to an invoice.

Transaction Fees & Stripe Account

What’s New:

  • No More Fees for Your Clients: Payment processing fees will now be covered on your end, allowing you to offer a fee-free experience for your clients.

  • Expanded Payment Methods: Credit cards and ACH/PAD bank payments are now supported in all US and Canadian markets.

New Processing Fees:

  • Credit Card: 2.9% fee + $9.30 per transaction, with a processing time of 24 hours (previously 3.9%).

  • Wire Transfer: $14 per transaction, with a processing time of 4-6 days, providing you with some of the lowest transaction fees on the market.

To align with these changes, we recommend accounting for the processing fees in your client quotes.

NOTE: Your Stripe account is disconnected, and you’ll need to reconnect it (From settings)

Invoices

We’ve enhanced invoices with the addition of a due date and a note block for special instructions. You now have more flexibility—you can create an invoice without needing to create a contract first.

Note: We no longer auto-generate draft invoices based on the defined payment schedule. However, we’re working on enhancing this feature to allow you to quickly create invoices by selecting any items from the contract or expenses (COST+).

Partial or Total Payments

We’ve streamlined the process for recording payments. You can now link a payment to one or multiple invoices with ease. This update has resolved the QuickBooks synchronization issues.
