Allow multiple signed quotes within the same project

We work on pretty big projects, but they want bids throughout the building process instead of all at once. It would be helpful if I could create more than one bid or quote from the same project instead of having 5 of the same projects for different parts. This becomes a pain since I have to redo all the files and such that we’ve already put in. Is there a way to update this? One quote per job is not working for us, and this is a big aspect of what we do and how we do it.
