Import Project Schedule into Progress Reports

Problem

When creating weekly progress reports, contractors must manually update the line items and completion percentages in the Scope of Work section.

For larger projects lasting two weeks or more, this creates significant administrative work because the same information already exists in the project schedule and must be entered again for every report.

Proposed Solution

Add an option to import or sync the project schedule directly into the Scope of Work section of a progress report.

The imported information should include:

• Schedule tasks and line items

• Their existing order or structure

• Current completion percentages

• Updated progress whenever a new report is created

The section can remain titled Scope of Work, but its content should pull directly from the project schedule.
