Looking for a Quote ID or Job ID # to track

Currently none of the quotes can be tracked via Quote ID and/or Job ID.
I would like to have a number value on the quotes to be able to refer back with a client.
It is also a much neater and cleaner way for me to track my jobs for bookkeeping.

Example:
Client Has had 3 quotes sent to them. Quotes 1001, 2001, 3001.
Quotes 1001, 2001 have been approved and converted into Job’s/Contracts 1001 ,2001.

When I invoice, As a line item to the same client but 2 different projects- I want my line item to be -
Quote1001/Contract1001 - 10% Deposit - $2.00 etc…..

Such that they understand exactly what it is. Where as, current workaround,
1. I track the Numbers Manually. - Extremely inefficient and many mistakes will be had
2. Currently it connects the invoice to the project - so customer should be viewing it under that specificly accepted project.
