Replace imported template task with catalog task (keep $/sq ft pricing when quantity is blank

When I create a quote in a project, I import a quote template that contains placeholder tasks with no quantity, for example “Exterior siding – general,” because the final selection and measurements are not confirmed yet. Later, I want to replace that placeholder task with a specific task from my cost catalog (vinyl siding, fiber cement, etc.) where pricing is set as labor-only with a unit rate in $/sq ft. Right now there is no direct “replace task” action on the line, so I must delete the placeholder, add the catalog task, and manually reposition it, which is slower and can cause the unit rate setup to be lost. I would like a “Replace with catalog task” action that swaps the task in place within the same category, keeps the catalog unit ($/sq ft) and unit labor rate even if the quantity remains blank, and lets me enter the square footage later so the total updates correctly.
