1. What the Client Sees
Material selections are managed directly from the client dashboard.
From their dashboard, clients can:
See material selections organized by sections and groups
View product options (with photos)
Know which selections are mandatory
See due dates for each selection to keep the project on schedule
Make their selections directly in the dashboard
Clients clearly see:
What they need to choose
When it’s due
Whether the selection is required
This helps avoid delays and confusion.
2. How Material Selections Are Structured
Material selections are organized in three levels:
Section
Example: Bathroom, Kitchen, Flooring
Group (inside a section)
Example: Faucets, Vanities, Tiles
Products (inside a group)
Multiple options the client can choose from
Each group can contain several product choices, giving clients flexibility while staying within your structure.
3. Setting Up Material Selections (Contractor View)
From the contractor/admin view, you can:
Create sections and groups
Add product options to each group
Upload photos for better client clarity
Mark selections as mandatory or optional
Set due dates for selections
These tools allow you to fully customize material selections based on your project needs.
Note: Only publicly accessible websites or products can be automatically added by our AI. If you add a page that requires a login, it will not work, and you will need to add the information manually.
4. Keeping Projects on Schedule
Required selections include a due date
Clients are informed that late selections may impact the schedule
This sets clear expectations and reduces follow-ups
5. Why Use Material Selections
Material selections help you:
Centralize all client choices in one place
Reduce back-and-forth emails and texts
Keep projects organized and on schedule
Give clients a clear, professional experience
Troubleshooting
If one or more product URLs fail to load and you see a grey image, our scraping tool was unable to retrieve the product information. Please check whether the website you’re trying to add a product from requires a login to access all the details.
If the image fails to load, we recommend manually adding the product information.
Don’t worry—failed products in your selection are not visible to customers.
