How to create a daily log?

1. What Are Daily Logs?

Daily logs are short daily reports that can include:

  • Work completed that day

  • Weather conditions

  • Crew members on site

  • Notes or issues

  • Photos and documents

They help you stay organized and protect you if questions come up later.


2. Where to Create a Daily Log

As an admin

To create a daily log:

  1. Open your project

  2. Go to the Daily Logs section

  3. Click Create Daily Log

You can create one log per day or as many as needed.

As an employee (from mobile):

To create a daily log:

  1. Go to Daily Logs

  2. Select a project

  3. Upload pictures

  4. Fill out the questions

  5. Share it with admins

Once shared, all admins will receive a text notification.

3. Filling Out a Daily Log

When creating a daily log, you can:

  • Answer predefined daily log questions

  • Add custom notes or comments

  • Upload photos or documents

  • Record anything important that happened on site

The questions shown are based on your default daily log settings.


4. Sharing Daily Logs with Clients

You control visibility:

  • Daily logs are not shared by default

  • To make a log visible to the client, you must toggle it on from the admin platform

Once shared, the daily log appears in the client dashboard.
