How to revise a quote
Option 1: Edit the quote you sent
Option 2: Duplicate the existing quote
Option 3: Save your sent quote as a template and create a new quote from this version
Option 1 - Edit the existing quote
Warning: If you choose to edit your existing quote, you will lose the original version you sent. As a tip, you may want to duplicate it instead or save it as a PDF first.
If you choose to edit directly, click the three-dots menu in the Quote tab of a project or the Edit button on the quote preview page.
Then edit the content by:
Removing tasks that no longer apply (e.g., delete the entire Painting category if the client will self-perform it).
Modifying tasks that change in scope or quality (e.g., open Flooring, add a richer description such as “Premium hardwood,” and increase the material cost).
Using the blue calculator icon to fine-tune quantities, rates, or markups as needed.
Review and resend
Click through Next → Add Details and Next → Presentation, just as you did the first time. Verify markups, the payment schedule, and attached files.
Click Send Quote.
Personalize the subject line (e.g., “Revised estimate for your project”) and body text, add CCs if required, and press Send.
Option 2 - Duplicate the existing quote
Click the three-dots menu in the Quote tab of a project and select Duplicate. Edit the quote as needed.
Note: Only one quote can be signed per project. To avoid confusion, you may want to cancel the first quote you sent so your customer doesn’t accidentally sign the wrong quote.
Option 3 - Save your original quote as template
Open the quote you sent and click the Save as template button. Name your template.
Then, go back to your project, click the blue Create a new quote button, and select From my templates.
